Pakistan emerged as the champion of the Baseball United Classic by defeating the United Arab Emirates 12-1, maintaining an undefeated run throughout the tournament.

Fans at the stadium celebrated Pakistan’s victory, chanting "Pakistan Zindabad" in excitement.

Nine countries participated in the Baseball United Classic tournament held in the UAE. The Pakistani players celebrated on the field, waving the green crescent flag and bowing in gratitude.

With a flawless winning streak, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh, UAE, and India to qualify for the knockout round, where they overpowered Afghanistan to secure a spot in the final, ultimately clinching the championship title.

The Pakistani squad for the Baseball United Arab Classic included: Sameer Ahmed Khatri, Zan Shariff Von Schlegell, Amar Bilal Mahmood, Iyad Ansari, Pierce Romail Khan, Moosa Nonomiya (Khizer Hayat), Syed Ali Shah, Syed Muhammad Shah, Hasnain Jan, Syed Muhib Shah, Muhammad Zohaib, Muhammad Younas, Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Amjad Aslam, Shahzad Ahmad, Wasim Akram, Musharaf Khan, Jibran Aman Murtaza, Wahid, Faisal Hayat, Hussain Imam Shah, Umair Imdad Bhatti.

Recently, Pakistan has been enjoying several achievements in the world of sports. Kishmala Talat, for instance, was ranked as the second-best female shooter in Asia in the women’s 10m air pistol event.

This was announced in the latest annual rankings released by the Asian Shooting Confederation. 

Muhammad Asif from Pakistan has won the title of IBSF Men’s World Snooker Championship 2024, defeating Iran's Ali Gharahgozlou in an exciting final match.

In October, Pakistani fighters Mehmosh Raza and Rafiq Afridi clinched titles in the featherweight and bantamweight categories in international mixed martial arts championship by defeating their Indian competitors.

Manisha Ali, the student of Garrison University Lahore clinched gold for Pakistan at the KASAD’s 6th Asian Taekwondo Championship, adding another feather to the varsity cap.

Earlier, Pakistani martial artist Shahzeb Khan secured the gold medal after defeating the Philippines' Calamba in the final of the -54kg category at the Asia Open Kyorugi Taekwondo Championship.
