Pakistan celebrated a proud moment on the international stage as Jawad Ahmad, a bodybuilder from Sargodha, Punjab, secured a gold medal at the prestigious Global Powerlifting and Bodybuilding International Championship held in Dubai.

Competing against top athletes from around the world—including India, Sri Lanka, Germany, France, South Africa, Mexico, Finland, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the UAE—Jawad Ahmad delivered a stellar performance, outshining his rivals in both the Master Class and Overall Class categories.

In a nail-biting final, Ahmad defeated India's Sandeep Singh, clinching first place in the bodybuilding category and earning Pakistan a spot at the top of the podium. India claimed the silver medal, while Sri Lanka secured bronze.
