A Dubai-based factory owner distributed 700 free tickets for the Asia Cup, including the high-voltage Pakistan-India clash, among his workers, ensuring that South Asian cricket fans living away from home could witness the action live.
As cricket fever grips Dubai ahead of the Pakistan vs India showdown on September 14, tickets for the much-anticipated Asia Cup match have become nearly impossible to find.
Amid skyrocketing demand, Anees Sajan, a prominent businessman and social personality in Dubai, surprised his employees by gifting them 700 free tickets for various Asia Cup matches, including the high-voltage encounter between arch-rivals Pakistan and India.
Speaking to the media, Sajan expressed his lifelong passion for cricket, saying that while he has always loved watching stars in action, his aim this time was to give back to the hardworking community of South Asian workers in Dubai.

The generous gesture extends beyond tickets. Workers from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Afghanistan were also promised free transport to and from the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which is hosting several Asia Cup fixtures, including the final.
Given the immense excitement around the Pakistan-India clash, Sajan explained that tickets were distributed fairly through a lucky draw.
