Tariq Fazal distributes cheques worth Rs5mln each among PIMS fire victims

Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, acting on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, met with the parents of newborns who lost their lives in the PIMS tragedy and presented financial assistance cheques of Rs5 million to each affected family.

During his meetings with the bereaved parents, the minister expressed his condolences and acknowledged the profound pain caused by the loss of newborn children.

He said that no amount of financial compensation could make up for the loss suffered by the families.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said his visit was carried out on the Prime Minister’s instructions to convey solidarity and support to the families during their difficult time.

He asserted that the government stands with those affected by the tragedy and will continue to provide necessary assistance.

The federal minister also assured the grieving families that the incident would be investigated and that those found responsible for the PIMS tragedy would face exemplary punishment.

He said the financial assistance was intended not as a replacement for the lives lost, but as a measure of support for the families as they cope with the aftermath of the tragedy.

The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring accountability and taking appropriate action against those responsible.
