Paralympic athlete Haider Ali honored with Rs5 million cash prize

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has presented a cash award of Rs5 million to Paralympic athlete Haider Ali in acknowledgment of his achievement in securing a bronze medal for Pakistan.
This recognition was made possible through the PSB’s newly established policy, which is designed to support and motivate athletes who perform exceptionally at both national and international competitions.
The cheque was formally handed to Haider Ali by Rana Sanaullah Khan, the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination, during a ceremony honoring his accomplishment.
In his remarks at the event, Rana Sanaullah commended Haider Ali for his commitment and resilience, emphasizing that his success has instilled a sense of pride within the nation.
He reiterated the government's dedication to advancing sports and supporting athletes through such initiatives.
The Director General of PSB, along with other officials in attendance, also praised Haider Ali’s outstanding performance, characterizing the cash award as a fitting acknowledgment of his significant contributions to the realm of sports in Pakistan.
