The Karachi Kings claimed their second victory in Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 with a commanding 56-run win over the Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium on Friday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Kings posted a competitive 175/7 in their 20 overs. Opener James Vince, who scored a century in the previous match, continued his fine form with a brisk 70 off 47 balls.
Skipper David Warner contributed 31 off 20, while Tim Seifert added a quickfire 27 off 15. Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi chipped in with 18 runs. For Quetta, Mohammad Amir and Ali Majid took two wickets each.
In reply, the Gladiators crumbled under pressure, managing only 119/9 in 20 overs. Their chase never gained momentum, losing six wickets for just 47 runs in nine overs. Only Mohammad Amir (30 off 16) and captain Saud Shakeel (30* off 28) offered resistance. Hasan Ali (3/27) and Abbas Afridi (2 wickets) spearheaded Karachi's bowling attack.
The Kings' dominant performance strengthens their position in the PSL 10 standings, while Quetta faces questions after a dismal batting display.
