Mohammad Rizwan and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi presented a cheque to Cricket South Africa (CSA) on behalf of the Shahid Afridi Foundation.
This donation supports the fight against breast cancer, in line with the objectives of the Pink Day initiative, which seeks to enhance awareness and promote breast cancer research.
The Shahid Afridi Foundation has consistently engaged in philanthropic activities, particularly in the realms of healthcare and education, with initiatives that include the construction of hospitals and community development projects.
The gesture by Rizwan and Afridi during this significant event underscores the foundation's commitment to meaningful social causes.
On the cricket field, Pakistan delivered impressive performances.
Saim Ayub demonstrated his batting skills with a remarkable century, scoring 101 runs—his second century of the series and the third of his ODI career.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan (53) and Babar Azam (52) also contributed significantly, helping Pakistan achieve a competitive total of 308 for 9 in 47 overs at the innings break.
This series has further reinforced Mohammad Rizwan's credentials as a leader, marking his third consecutive ODI series victory as captain.
Under his guidance, Pakistan has achieved wins against Australia and Zimbabwe, including a historic victory against Australia on their home ground, ending a two-decade-long wait for success.
