Tennis star Venus Williams marries Italian actor Andrea Preti in Florida

American tennis star Venus Williams has married Italian actor, model, and designer Andrea Preti in Florida.

An Instagram post from Vogue Magazine’s Weddings section announced the nuptials, with the message garnering more than 30,000 likes as of Tuesday afternoon.

“We all love each other so much,” Williams, 45, said in the Vogue post. “It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”

The couple, who had been friends for some time, celebrated their wedding over six days at Palm Beach.

Speaking about the celebrations, Venus Williams said her sister Serena Williams gifted her a luxury yacht. Close family members were invited for dinner on the yacht, with Serena personally arranging all the meals.

She added that 10 to 12 family members and friends were on board, and they enjoyed the week-long celebrations.

Venus Williams and Andrea Preti first met in 2024 during a fashion show in Milan. The couple became engaged in July earlier this year.

On the occasion, Serena Williams also shared a heartfelt message for her sister along with pictures from the wedding.
