Small steps can lead to big changes—so why not run across a country? This thought motivated Tabarak Rehman to embark on a journey from the northern corners of Punjab to the southern coast of Sindh.

Through his cross-country tour, Tabarak aims to amplify the issue of 30 million out-of-school children in Pakistan. "Everywhere in the world, people run cross-country as a tool to raise awareness about projects and causes close to their hearts," he remarked in an interview with Dialogue Pakistan.

"For me, education is the most pressing issue in Pakistan, and I wanted to do something meaningful for it," he added. Tabarak is fundraising one million dollars to help educate thousands of children from underserved and marginalized communities.

As he entered Karachi—the final destination of his extraordinary journey—he had already raised two hundred thousand dollars (2 lakh) and hopes to reach the half-million-dollar mark by next year.

Tabarak urges the public to join and support his cause. "As a nation, every individual has to play their part," he stressed, calling for participation and voluntary action to drive change in Pakistan.

Watch our full story to learn what inspired Tabarak to embark on this journey and what he hopes to achieve through it.
