"If timely investigation had been conducted, Sarim would have been alive today," claimed the mother of seven-year-old Sarim. Sarim went to attend madrasah on January 7 but never returned home. Two weeks after his alleged kidnapping, the body of the victim was recovered from a nearby water tank.

This shocking and unusual incident has terrified everyone in the neighborhood, who refused to believe it was an accident. "They slew our child and (cleverly) threw his body in our own tank so that no one would suspect his murder," the father expressed in grief.
