Dialogue Pakistan reaches out to a 60-year-old blacksmith in Karachi who has been working since the age of 12. He shares the hardships of his trade, explaining how much of his work involves handling fire with his bare hands.

 

“We are facing hell here—may Allah reward us in heaven for our efforts,” the blacksmith says, lamenting how his hard work often goes unrecognized.
