14.8 mln people performed Umrah during Rajab, says Saudi Ministry

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has released the number of visitors to Masjid al-Haram in Makkah during the month of Rajab.

According to official statistics, a total of 14.8 million pilgrims performed Umrah during Rajab, including both domestic and international visitors.

Of these, around 2 million pilgrims came from various countries abroad.

The Ministry stated that verified data from both agencies indicates a significant increase in the number of Umrah pilgrims.

The rise in visitors reflects growing confidence in the facilities and services provided by the Saudi government.
