Authorities in China have issued a warning for millions of people to stay indoors on Saturday and Sunday due to the threat of powerful winds.

According to a report by international media, the intensity of these winds may be so strong that individuals weighing less than 50 kilograms could easily be lifted into the air.

State media has also warned that the situation could be particularly dangerous for underweight individuals.

According to meteorological officials, a cold vortex moving southeast from Mongolia is the cause of this situation.

These stormy winds could affect Beijing, Tianjin, and other areas of Hebei province, with speeds reaching up to 150 kilometers per hour.

For the first time in a decade, authorities in Beijing have issued an orange alert for a windstorm, which is the second-highest level in the four-tier weather warning system, indicating the severity of the threat.

Reports suggest that these winds may be more severe than any storm witnessed in the region in recent years.

Officials have expressed concern that when these stormy winds reach their peak on Saturday, the temperature in Beijing could drop by up to 13 degrees Celsius within just 24 hours.

Beijing's meteorological service has declared these winds to be extremely dangerous, saying they are not only fast but could also persist for a long time and impact a wide area. Citizens have been urged to exercise caution due to their destructive potential.
