At least three people, including a Hamas official, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, Hezbollah-affiliated network Al Mayadeen reported early Friday.
According to reports, the strike targeted a residential apartment in the city's centre and is believed to have killed Hassan Farhat, a Hamas official, along with his son and daughter.
Israel's military last targeted Sidon on February 17, resulting in the death of Muhammad Shahine, a top Hamas official.
Israel's military launched additional strikes in southern Lebanon's Naqoura and Nabatieh areas, hitting targets on Thursday night and early Friday morning, according to reports.

At least 33 killed in Israeli airstrikes on three schools in Gaza
Separately, at least 33 Palestinians were killed and over 100 injured after Israeli airstrikes hit three schools in Gaza’s Tuffah neighbourhood, which were sheltering displaced people, according to Al Jazeera
Gaza’s Government Media Office stated that airstrikes left at least 29 individuals, including 18 children, killed while more than 100 were injured.
The school was hit with at least four missiles, said a Civil Defence spokesperson.
The Israeli military claimed to have targeted a Hamas command centre in Gaza City, which was allegedly used to plan and carry out attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers.
However, it's unclear if this was the same strike that hit a nearby school.
