TEHRAN: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that its latest wave of retaliatory missile strikes on Israel featured the deployment of Fattah hypersonic missiles, marking a significant escalation in Iran’s response to ongoing Israeli aggression.

In an official statement on Wednesday, the IRGC Aerospace Force described this 11th wave of attacks as one of the heaviest and most destructive operations against Israeli targets in recent days, launched in retaliation for what Tehran has called Israel’s unprovoked war of aggression against the Iranian nation.

The IRGC asserted that the Fattah missiles, known for their high velocity and maneuverability, successfully penetrated Israeli air defense systems, challenging the long-standing perception of the invincibility of Israel’s defense shields. The strikes, it claimed, “rattled the shelters of the cowards several times.”

According to the statement, Iranian forces now possess full control over the skies of the occupied territories, leaving Israeli defenses “totally helpless” against Iranian precision strikes.

Since June 13, Iran has carried out multiple waves of retaliatory missile strikes targeting Israeli military and strategic sites. The Iranian offensive follows Israel’s airstrikes on Iranian soil, which targeted nuclear, military, and civilian locations.

Iranian authorities report that those attacks killed several high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and at least 45 civilians, including women and children.

As tensions escalate in the region, Iran has vowed to continue its response until Israeli aggression ceases, warning of further repercussions if hostilities continue.
