An Iranian missile strike on Beersheba, Israel, has caused catastrophic damage, leaving a massive crater at the impact site. Visuals circulating on social media show widespread devastation across the city, with buildings set ablaze and multiple Israeli settlers reportedly injured.
Israeli media confirmed that the country’s air defense system failed to intercept the missile during the latest wave of retaliatory attacks launched by Iran.
A projectile fired by Iran struck the Microsoft building in Beersheba.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military claimed it had targeted several "industrial sites for missile production" in Tehran in response. According to Israeli military sources, more than 60 fighter jets participated in the operation, deploying approximately 120 munitions over the Iranian capital.
Addressing the escalating tensions, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt told reporters that President Donald Trump would make a final decision on US involvement within the next two weeks.
“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, the President will make his decision whether or not to go [to war] within the next two weeks,” she quoted President Trump as saying.
When asked whether talks with Iran were still a possibility, Levitt responded that discussions may or may not occur, but President Trump’s decision will hinge on upcoming developments.
