According to Israeli media reports, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering ending the bombing campaign against Iran in the coming days, once Israel achieves its goal of destroying key Iranian nuclear facilities.

Israeli officials are said to be focusing on pressuring Tehran to either dismantle its nuclear program or compel Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s government to do so voluntarily, which they believe could bring an end to the war.

However, Iran has vowed to continue its retaliation, refusing to compromise on its nuclear ambitions. Tehran is reportedly considering withdrawing from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), accusing the organization of bias and failing to counter Israeli “propaganda” about its nuclear activities.

An unnamed Israeli official told local media that ending the war depends on Iran’s actions, while other sources said Israel may unilaterally declare an end to hostilities, expecting Iran to also scale back its response.

The report added that a US-mediated ceasefire is not seen as a favorable option by Israeli leadership, who are instead exploring intensified strikes to force Iran back to the negotiating table.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that no negotiations will take place unless Israel halts its attacks.

On Sunday, Netanyahu stated that Israel is "close to achieving its war goals" in Iran and that its military offensive may soon come to an end.
