Tragedy struck in Gaza as the Israeli army launched an attack on a home in Deir al-Balah, killing 4-day-old twin babies and their mother.
The sad news was shared by an X handle named Gaza Notification, which usually shares the atrocities being inflicted upon Palestinians by Israel.
According to the social media account, the incident took place when the twin's father, Mohammed Abu Al-Qomsan, had left the house to obtain birth certificates for his newborns.
"Asser and Aysel. Just 4 days old. Their mother, Jumana [Farid Abu Al-Qomsan], was a mother for only 4 days. Today, all three of their lives ended," the post read.

The incident adds to the growing toll of the Israeli military offensive, which has claimed the lives of almost 39,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children, since October 7, 2023.
As many as 91,700 people have been injured in the Israeli attacks in the besieged enclave, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
The Israeli war has left vast tracts of Gaza in ruins, with a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Earlier, the International Court of Justice had also ordered Israel to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where over 1 million Palestinians had sought refuge before it was invaded on May 6.
Israel stands accused of genocide, and the international community continues to call for an end to the violence.
