King Charles, Queen Camilla participate in packing donation boxes for Ramadan

British King Charles and Queen Camilla took part in pre-Ramadan preparations by packing dates and meals for families in need at a restaurant, as part of a charitable initiative for the holy month.
The royal couple visited the Indian restaurant Darjeeling Express in London, where they interacted with the staff and helped pack dates and biryani to be distributed to local communities in need.

Taking to Instagram, the Royal Family shared a video of King Charles and Queen Camilla with the caption, "Packing dates at Darjeeling Express."
"Traditionally, dates are eaten as the first food to break the fast at sunset during Ramadan. Their Majesties helped pack dates that will be sent to local hospitals for Iftaar during the holy month," the post read.
King Charles also shared a lighthearted moment with the restaurant’s owner, Asma Khan, who praised him for packing the donation boxes swiftly.

"I didn't realise the King would be so fast," she remarked, to which the King quipped, "I don’t waste time."
