The Indian police arrested a 21-year-old engineering student who allegedly sent death threats posing as "ISIS Kashmir" to former BJP MP and current head coach of India's men’s cricket team, Gautam Gambhir. The suspect was later identified as a Hindu.
According to Indian media reports, Gambhir received two threatening emails on his Gmail account on April 22, the same day as the Pahalgam incident in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The emails contained the message "I kill you," with the sender falsely identifying themselves as "ISIS Kashmir."
