During the 50th anniversary celebrations of tech giant Microsoft, employee staged a protest against Israeli atrocities in Palestine.

The protest erupted while Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman was speaking about new updates and the future vision for the company’s AI assistant, Copilot.

Amidst the event, an employee, Ibtihal Abu Saeed, approached the stage and addressed Suleyman, saying: "Mustafa, you should be ashamed. You claim to use AI for good, but Microsoft is supplying AI weapons to the Israeli military. Fifty thousand people have been killed, and Microsoft is fueling this genocide in our region."

In response to her protest, Mustafa Suleyman replied, "Thank you for your protest. I have heard you."

However, the protesting employee retorted, "Your hands are stained with blood. All of Microsoft's hands are stained with blood."

According to reports, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and former CEO Steve Ballmer were also present at the event when the protest unfolded in support of Palestine.
