Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the establishment of a Palestinian state in Gaza will not be permitted, dismissing ongoing discussions on the matter and asserting that such a move has neither happened in the past nor will it be allowed in the future.
Addressing a press conference, Netanyahu warned that if Iran were to attack Israel, it would face a response “unlike anything seen before”.
He cautioned Tehran against making what he described as a grave mistake, adding that Israel would respond to any attack with full force and strength.
The Israeli prime minister said Israel would maintain its security control, stressing that this policy would also apply to the Gaza Strip.
He reiterated that he has consistently opposed the creation of a Palestinian state and has played a central role in preventing it in the past.
Commenting on the possibility of foreign forces entering Gaza, Netanyahu said Israel would not allow Turkish or Qatari troops to be deployed in the territory.
