In a heart-wrenching incident, a Palestinian boy was killed by an Israeli airstrike when he was bringing food for his family in Khan Younis.

A picture of the victim boy, who was out to fetch food for his family, circulated on social media, showing him lying on the ground dead with injuries, while loaves of bread were scattered around him.

He was hit by an Israeli aircraft while passing through an old cemetery in central Khan Younis.

In another brutal attack, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) targeted a field hospital at Khadija School in Deir el-Balah, killing at least 18 individuals.

“We condemn in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation’s horrific massacre against a field hospital providing medical services to dozens of patients and wounded, all of whom were civilians,” the Gaza government media office said.

“We hold the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for the continuation of these massacres against the displaced people and civilians,” it added.

Due to the Israeli army’s relentless assault on Khan Younis, thousands of displaced Palestinians were forced to take shelter in a cemetery.

Fighting between Palestinian resistance groups and the Israeli occupation army is ongoing in different areas. Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) fighters attacked IDF forces in the Tal al-Hawa area of Gaza City with sniper fire, rocket-propelled grenades, and powerful explosively formed penetrators on Friday.

Human rights activists and pro-Palestinian supporters have called for Israel to be banned from participating in the ongoing Paris Olympics due to the genocide in Gaza.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated that 83% of Gaza is under evacuation orders or designated as ‘no-go’ zones by the Israeli military.

Israel's war on Gaza since October 7 has killed more than 39,000 people, with over 89,727 wounded, according to Palestinian authorities in Gaza.
