Saudi Arabia introduces 'music education' in schools with 9000 female teachers

Saudi Arabia is making significant changes to its education system, with music classes set to be included in the curriculum from primary classes.
According to Saudi media, Noor al-Dabbagh, Director Planning in the Saudi Ministry of Culture, announced the development at the Learn Conference held in Riyadh.
Al-Dabbagh revealed that over 9,000 female teachers are being trained by the Ministry of Culture to teach music in schools.
The teachers will be responsible for delivering music education to primary school students.
In addition to music, arts and culture will also be incorporated into the state's education curriculum.
The move is part of the Kingdom's broader efforts to revamp its education system and provide students with a more comprehensive learning experience.
By integrating music and arts into the curriculum, Saudi Arabia aims to provide its students with a well-rounded education that fosters creativity and cultural awareness.
