Renowned Saudi Arabian food chain Al-Baik is set to open its doors in Pakistan, following a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between Al-Baik Food System Company and Gas and Oil Pakistan Ltd (Go).
The MoU was signed between the countries under the backing of Saudi Ministry of Investment.
The strategic partnership aims to establish Al-Baik restaurants across Pakistan, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's goal of enhancing national expertise exports and global commercial expansion.
The signing ceremony was attended by Saudi Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih.
Pakistan and the Kingdom's delegations inked the deal to expand the eatery business in the South Asian country.
"The milestone is a testament to the Saudi Ministry of Investment's efforts to empower Saudi brands to expand internationally and bolster the Kingdom's global economic standing."
As a leading player in Pakistan's oil and gas sector, Go, in which Saudi Aramco has acquired a 40% stake, will play a crucial role in this partnership.
According to Wikipedia, Al-Baik is a Saudi fast-food restaurant chain headquartered in Jeddah, that primarily sells broasted and fried chicken with a variety of sauces.
"It is the largest restaurant chain in Saudi Arabia. Albaik currently has a trade name in 80 countries," it added.
