“Sinister, racist facism:” netizens furious over ‘Trump Gaza’ AI video shared by US President

US President Donald Trump, already facing criticism for his controversial plans to reconstruct the Gaza Strip, has sparked a new wave of outrage after sharing an absurd AI-generated video depicting the Palestinian enclave as a luxurious beach resort.

Titled "Trump Gaza," the video features Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and tech billionaire Elon Musk enjoying the beach, eating, and throwing money. It was posted by Trump on his Truth Social platform.

The video included surreal visuals of nightclubs, parties, and hotels, with a massive golden statue that creates the impression of Trump as a "savior."

It also featured a hotel named 'Trump Gaza,' golden balloons bearing Trump’s face held by children, and Trump statues in various shops.

In an bizarre twist, the video showed bearded dancers, which starkly contrasts with Trump's own anti-transgender policies.

US President Donald Trump has frequently reiterated his commitment to bring the territory ‘under US authority’ and emphasising that Palestinians will leave the enclave.

He stated that the United States, in collaboration with Middle Eastern countries, will transform the enclave into a "big real estate site."

Social media users condemned the video as disgusting and shameful.

"President Donald Trump’s AI video depicting his vision for Gaza is not just grotesque—it is downright offensive. It blatantly ignores the fact that Palestinians in Gaza are religiously conservative and disregards the reality that over 60,000 people have been killed, including more than 18,000 children," journalist Hala Jaber said on X.

She added, "Meanwhile, Elon Musk feasts on hummus and throws money around as the President dances with a belly dancer and sunbathes alongside war criminal Netanyahu, who is wanted by the ICC.  This is beyond crass—it is utterly appalling."
