10-kg minced meat robbed at gunpoint in Karachi

KARACHI: In a bizarre incident in Karachi, two robbers forcibly took minced meat from a butcher at gunpoint, neglecting to demand any of his valuable possessions.

The event transpired in the Liaquatabad area, where the armed assailants seized 10 kilograms of ground meat from the butcher before fleeing the scene.

Remarkably, the thieves left the victim's mobile phone and cash untouched.

The incident took place in the early morning hours while the butcher was transporting the minced meat and other goods to his shop.

Two masked individuals confronted the butcher, insisting that he surrender the minced meat.

The assailants threatened to shoot the butcher if he reported the incident to anyone.

In an interview with the media, the victim recounted that he was moving the minced meat and other items on a cart to his shop when he was accosted by the armed men, who demanded the meat.

He expressed his astonishment that the robbers did not take his mobile phone or cash.

He noted that the assailants were masked and warned him against informing anyone about the robbery.
