A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at City Police Station over a shoe theft incident in Punjab's Depalpur.

According to details, two individuals had their shoes stolen from a mosque near the Lorri Adda area while they were offering prayers.

Following the incident, a call was made to the police helpline 15, after which officers were dispatched to the scene.

Police were shown the site of the incident, and a case was formally registered on the complaint of the mosque’s imam.

Earlier in 2024, the Taxila police registered an FIR for the theft of a costly pair of designer shoes stolen from a mosque.

According to the FIR,  the shoes are by the renowned designer brand Gucci and are worth Rs 3 lac.

According to the text of the FIR, the complainant got the CCTV footage and identified the person who also came on a luxury car.
