Balochistan launches Pink Bus service for women and students

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced the launch of the ‘Pink Bus’ service for women and female students in the province.

In a message posted on social media platform X, the Chief Minister stated that the initiative aims to provide safe and dignified daily transportation for women and students.

He asserted that the government’s priority is to ensure the Pink Bus service continues on a permanent basis.

The Chief Minister added that in the next phase, the service will be extended to other districts, facilitating women’s access to education, employment, and healthcare services.

He further highlighted that providing a safe transport system for women is a key element of the provincial government’s reform agenda, and that practical measures to empower women in Balochistan are ongoing.
