Gold falls by Rs2,400 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices saw a decline in Pakistan on Tuesday, tracking a downward trend in the global market.
In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,400 during the day, settling at Rs475,362.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,057 and was recorded at Rs407,546, according to the rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Monday, gold had moved up, with the per-tola rate rising by Rs4,600 to reach Rs477,762.
In the international market, gold also weakened, slipping $24 to stand at $4,530 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also followed the same direction, dropping by Rs153 per tola to close at Rs8,117.
