Gold price drops Rs3,000 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Wednesday following a decline in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold decreased by Rs3,000 per tola, bringing it down to Rs356,000.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs2,572, settling at Rs305,212.

This follows a Rs700 per tola decline recorded on Tuesday, when the gold price had reached Rs359,000.

Internationally, gold prices also saw a significant drop. The global rate stood at $3,335 per ounce—down by $30—with a premium of $20, as reported by APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with the per tola rate holding steady at Rs4,014.
