Gold price drops Rs500 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices declined in both domestic and international markets on Tuesday, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs500 per tola, closing at Rs358,300. The rate for 10 grams of 24K gold decreased by Rs429 to Rs307,184, while 10 grams of 22K gold were sold at Rs281,595.

In the international market, gold registered a marginal drop of $5 per ounce, bringing the price to $2,356.

Silver rates remained largely stable. In the local market, 24K silver was priced at Rs4,013 per tola and Rs3,440 per 10 grams. Globally, silver held steady at $37.80 per ounce.
