Gold price falls by Rs1,469 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices fell in Pakistan on Friday following a decline in the international bullion market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,469, bringing it down to Rs467,816 in the local market.

The rate for 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs1,323 and was recorded at Rs401,012. A day earlier, gold prices had moved upward, with the price per tola increasing by Rs1,523 to settle at Rs469,285.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $14 per ounce, taking the rate to $4,453, including a premium of $20.

Silver prices also witnessed a decline in Pakistan. The price of silver per tola dropped by Rs67 and settled at Rs7,730.
