Gold price increases by Rs1,500 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday following gains in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs1,500 per tola, reaching Rs354,500 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,286 to Rs303,926.
This rise comes a day after gold prices had declined by Rs2,500 per tola on Monday, settling at Rs353,000.
On the global front, gold prices also moved upward. As per APGJSA, the international rate stood at $3,325 per ounce on Tuesday—reflecting a $15 gain—with a premium of $20 applied.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with one tola selling at Rs3,841.
