Gold price per tola jumps by Rs 2,900 in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant increase on Wednesday, reflecting a rise in international market rates.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs2,900 to settle at Rs280,800 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,487, reaching Rs240,741.
This increase follows a decline on Tuesday, when the price per tola dropped by Rs1,400 to Rs277,900.
On the global front, gold prices also witnessed an uptick, with the rate per ounce rising by $29 to $2,690, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver in the local market remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola.
