Gold prices remained stable in Pakistan on Thursday, with no change reported from the previous session, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs349,300 per tola, while 10 grams of the same purity were sold at Rs299,468. The 22-karat gold rate stood at Rs274,522 per 10 grams. Similarly, silver prices held steady, with 24-karat silver trading at Rs3,480 per tola and Rs2,983 per 10 grams.

On the global front, spot gold traded around $3,303 per ounce, up by $43.10 or 1.32% from the previous session. Analysts said the rise was driven by investor interest following recent dips, though gains were limited due to easing trade tensions between the US and the European Union.

Markets are now focused on the upcoming US core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) report, a key gauge for potential shifts in Federal Reserve interest rate policy.

Despite a one-month increase of Rs3,500 and a fiscal year-to-date rise of Rs107,600 per tola, the domestic gold market showed no daily movement, highlighting a cautious trading sentiment in anticipation of international economic data.
