Gold price rises Rs800 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, reflecting gains in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs800 per tola, reaching Rs350,200.

The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed, gaining Rs686 to settle at Rs300,240.

This increase follows a decline on Saturday, when the gold price per tola dropped by Rs1,600 to close at Rs349,400.

On the global front, gold also saw an uptick, with the international price reaching $3,282 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a gain of $8 on the day, APGJSA reported.

Meanwhile, the price of silver in the local market remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs3,782 per tola.
