Gold prices decline by Rs3200 in Pakistan

The prices of gold and silver declined on Monday, both globally and domestically, due to reduced purchases by various countries like China and Russia, as well as profit-taking by global investors.

In the global bullion market, the price of gold decreased by $32 per ounce to $5,010.

In the domestic market,According to All Pakistan gems and jwelers, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs3,200 to Rs523,762 per tola, while the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs2,743 to Rs449,041.

Likewise, the price of silver in the global market decreased by 55 cents per ounce to $76.80. In the domestic market, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs55 to Rs8,164, while the price of silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs47 to Rs6,999.

As per the latest information from the State Bank of Pakistan, the country's gold reserves have now touched 64.76 tonnes, valued at $1.0374 billion.
