Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Monday, tracking a downward trend in global markets. The price of per tola gold dropped by Rs2,600, closing at Rs351,500, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,228, settling at Rs301,354. The decline follows a Rs3,100 per tola gain on Saturday, when gold had reached Rs354,100.

Internationally, gold prices also slipped by $26, trading at $3,331 per ounce (including a $20 premium).

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs3,508 per tola.

Market analysts attribute the dip to fluctuating global demand and currency movements. Traders expect further adjustments based on international trends and domestic demand.
