Gold prices in Pakistan fall Rs4,100 per tola as global rates ease

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, reflecting a downturn in international markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs4,100 to Rs384,000.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams decreased by Rs3,515 to Rs329,218.
The decline followed a period of stability on Wednesday when the per tola price stood at Rs388,100, a day after hitting a record high.
In the global market, bullion prices also eased. The APGJSA reported the international rate at $3,618 per ounce (including a $20 premium), down $36 from the previous level. Despite the dip, prices remain close to historic highs.
Spot gold was recorded at $3,636.59 per ounce as of 0233 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery slipped 0.1% to $3,676.40.
Earlier this week, bullion reached an unprecedented $3,673.95 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan followed a similar trend, with the per tola rate declining by Rs32 to close at Rs4,326.
