Gold prices rise by Rs4,643 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices increased in domestic market on Monday, tracking gains in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs4,643 to reach Rs442,636. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,179 to settle at Rs378,345, according to rates shared by the AllPakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, gold prices had stood at Rs437,993 per tola after a slight decline of Rs43.

In the international market, gold prices went up by $46 to reach $4,202 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase, rising by Rs189 per tola to settle at Rs7,151.
