Gold prices witnessed a decline across Pakistan’s bullion markets on Monday, marking a downward trend at the start of the trading week.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,600, bringing it down to Rs495,362.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,371 to settle at Rs424,693.
The decline in domestic gold prices follows a decrease in the international market, where the price of gold fell by $16 per ounce to reach $4,730.
Market analysts attribute the reduction in local prices to fluctuations in global gold rates, which continue to influence the domestic bullion market
