Gold prices surge by Rs4,100 in Pakistan

Gold prices experienced a sharp increase both locally and globally on Saturday, marking a notable shift in the precious metals market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold saw a substantial rise of Rs4,100 per tola, reaching a new high of Rs359,800. In parallel, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold surged by Rs3,515, settling at Rs308,470.
On the global front, the price of gold per ounce climbed by $41, reaching $3,371, reflecting broader trends in the international market.
Silver also saw price adjustments in Pakistan, following the upward movement of gold. The price of a tola of 24-karat silver increased by Rs108, reaching Rs4,121, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose to Rs3,533.
These sharp price increases reflect a global surge in precious metal prices, driven by various economic factors.
