Karachi reports another Mpox case, city’s tally rises to 10

A new case of Mpox has been reported in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Jauhar area, taking the city's total number of confirmed cases to 10.

According to health officials, a 40-year-old resident of Gulistan-e-Jauhar tested positive for Mpox and has been admitted to the isolation ward at NIPA Hospital.

Hospital administration said the patient has no recent travel history. The infection was confirmed through a PCR test.

Officials further stated that seven Mpox cases have been reported at NIPA Hospital so far, while the total number of confirmed cases in Karachi has reached 10.
