Video shows bicycle pump being used to deliver oxygen to patient at Umerkot hospital

A video went viral on social media, showing a patient receiving oxygen through a bicycle pump at the Umerkot District Hospital due to a lack of an oxygen system.

The Deputy Commissioner took notice of the viral video and demanded a report from the Medical Superintendent of Umerkot District Hospital.

The MS declared the video fake and maintained that no such incident took place at the facility.

He submitted a report to the Deputy Commissioner, asserting that the hospital is fully equipped with an oxygen system.

The  shocking video on X highlighted the deplorable condition of Sindh's healthcare facilities, capturing a patient being nebulized with a bicycle pump.
