Actress Nargis, husband reach settlement in domestic violence case

Lahore: Stage actress Nargis and her husband, Inspector Majid Bashir, have reconciled in a case of alleged domestic violence filed in Lahore's Sessions Court.

The actress had lodged a complaint against her husband in the Defense-C area of Lahore, accusing him of assault over a financial dispute.

According to the police report, Nargis claimed her husband physically assaulted her during a quarrel over money.

However, the couple has now reached an agreement, and both parties submitted a mutual settlement deed in court.

Following the submission of the settlement, Majid Bashir withdrew his request for interim bail. Speaking about the reconciliation, Nargis's legal counsel stated that the settlement was facilitated by the couple's elders, who mediated the dispute.

The actress forgave her husband on their recommendation, and both parties have pledged to honor the agreement without any violations.
