Mir Raza Ali’s smartwatch images surface, social media alerts revealed

KARACHI: Photos of the smartwatch of Mir Raza have emerged, showing him deactivation notifications of his social media accounts.

As per sources, deactivation notifications of Mir Raza’s social media accounts were received on his smartwatch.

The notifications were received at 2:42am and 2:48am, sources added.

Sources mentioned that the notification on the smartwatch stated that the social media account of Mir Raza would be active till August 27 and would be deactivated after August 27, as per the notification.

It should be noted that investigative sources revealed that the smartwatch has been handed over to National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) for forensic examination.

It may be noted that the forensic examination of the smartwatch is ongoing and the report is expected in two to three days, sources added.

In an earlier development, the head of the investigation committee probing the murder case of Mir Raza Ali paid a visit to the crime scene along with the team.

The investigation committee inspected the crime scene as well as the route of the victim from the crime scene to Mir Raza’s kitchen. The committee head also checked the place where the victim was seen on the last CCTV footage.

The head of the investigation committee entered the kitchen of Mir Raza Ali and inspected the place. The kitchen of the victim was unlocked and the people present there were asked questions about the incident.

Upon completing the inspection, the investigation committee returned back to the crime scene.

It should be mentioned that the committee collected soil and two bottles of acid from near the crime scene and put those samples in the vehicle of investigation officer.
