Renowned Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim announced on social media that he has entered into a second marriage. Earlier, pictures of Imad Wasim and Nylah Raja went viral on social media, showing them walking together on the streets of the UK. At the time, they claimed it was only a fan moment.

Following this, Imad’s ex-wife, Sania Ashfaq, announced their separation and alleged that the marriage ended due to the involvement of a third party. In response, Nyla stated that these were merely allegations and warned that she would take legal action against those spreading false accusations.

He shared that his first marriage was not successful, describing it as one of the most difficult phases of his life. However, during that time, he was blessed with the greatest gifts of his life, his children, whom he loves deeply, and that love will never fade.

He said he remained patient for a long time and continued trying to save what mattered most to him. During that period, he made certain decisions that he now regrets, acknowledging that his delay and silence contributed to a situation in which an innocent person was unfairly judged and subjected to criticism she did not deserve. He takes responsibility for that.

He further stated that, with the grace of Allah and the guidance of his parents, he has now solemnized his nikah (marriage) with Naila. This step, he said, was taken thoughtfully and with clear intentions to begin a new life built on peace, stability, and mutual respect. According to him, Naila has brought dignity, calm, and stability into his life.

Above all, he emphasized that his commitment to his children remains his top priority. Being a father, he said, is not just about financial support, but also about presence, love, and guidance. Despite his best efforts, he is currently unable to meet his children. His only wish is to play an active and meaningful role in their lives.

He concluded by requesting that his personal life be treated with dignity and privacy. Not every matter needs public debate or commentary. Sometimes, he said, the most dignified way forward is through empathy and respect for boundaries.
