Dania receives Rs500,000 cash, Grande car in Haq Mehr from second husband

Dania Shah, the widow of late televangelist Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, has revealed the details of Haq Mehr she received from her second husband Shahzad Hakeem.

The couple held a wedding ceremony, a day earlier, at a private banquet in Multan to officially announce the marriage.

During the event, Shah and her second husband gave an interview to a private news channel, where they discussed their new journey.

"There was no demand [of Haq Mehr] from our side, but my husband has given me a house, an expensive car [Corolla Grande], and Rs500,000 as Haq Mehr with his consent," she told the reporter.

When asked about her alleged involvement in leaking her late husband's private video, Dania refrained from discussing it saying, "No comments."

Shahzad, on the other hand, boasted about the lavish Haq Mehr he gave to Dania.

"I have given my entire property, including my heart, to her. I have given her four gold sets, a Grande car, and a house. I am ready to give whatever else she demands," he said.

However, Shazad said that he just wanted to befriend Dania, but she rejected his offer.

"One day she came and proposed to me. I was shocked that I just wanted to have an affair with her but she offered me to contract a Nikah," he added.

Earlier in an interview, Hakeem revealed that Dania is his fourth wife and he has never seen a pious woman like her.

"I haven't seen a woman as pious as Dania Shah in my entire life," he said while talking to a private news channel on Wednesday.

"Second marriage is considered a crime in our society. I have committed this crime repeatedly. Daniya is my fourth wife," Shahzad added.

On July 30, Dania announced her second marriage with Shahzad in a video message.

Shah revealed that she got married a few months ago due to personal problems and the need for a Mehram (male guardian).

Earlier in May this year, Dania had announced hiring Shahzad as her lawyer to claim her share in Dr Aamir Liaquat's inheritance for a fee of Rs 200 million. 

The renowned politician married Dania Shah on February 10, 2022. However, their relationship deteriorated in just three months.

Dania also announced her intention to seek a divorce, accusing her husband of "abuse and mistreatment".

Later, an objectionable video featuring the late politician in a state of complete undress in his home was also allegedly leaked by Dania.

On June 5, 2022, the renowned media personality was found unconscious at his residence. He was rushed to the Aga Khan University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Following his death, Dania Shah was arrested by the FIA in Lodhran on suspicion of releasing the indecent video of Liaquat. 

However, she was granted bail by the Sindh High Court (SHC) in February 2023.
