Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra thanks father for 'love and support' after her divorce

Following her recent divorce, Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra expressed deep gratitude for the support she received from her father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.

Princess Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum first made headlines in July when she announced to end her marriage with an Emirati businessman through an Instagram post.

According to Harper's Bazaar Arabia, she has since been focusing on spending quality time with her family and daughter, sharing glimpses of these moments on Instagram.

In a touching Instagram post, Princess Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum shared a heartfelt message to her father.

“Dear father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone. My respect and love, Mahra,” her post read.

The princess's divorce announcement came a few months after the birth of her first child in May. She married Emirati businessman Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum on April 5, 2023.

Born in 1994, Sheikha Mahra is one of the 26 children of UAE ruler Sheikh Mohammed and his Greek wife, Zoe Grigorakos.
